In a meeting held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. The talks underscored the UAE’s dedication to its citizens and the pursuit of national development. Both leaders highlighted the central role of Emirati citizens in the nation’s development strategy, emphasizing their importance in fulfilling the UAE’s long-term goals. Prayers were offered for the country’s continued safety, prosperity, and advancement.
Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The meeting also saw the presence of several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, along with various ministers and government leaders.
This gathering is part of the UAE leadership’s routine consultations, which aim to assess national priorities and foster cooperation among the emirates. A key focus is on enhancing the quality of life for both citizens and residents in the UAE. The meeting follows a visit by President Sheikh Mohamed to Fujairah earlier in April. During that visit, the leaders toured Fujairah Port, evaluating ongoing development projects and operational enhancements at this vital maritime hub in the UAE.
