This system allows applicants to schedule appointments directly through an official online portal without incurring any booking fees, aiming to eliminate the need for third-party intermediaries.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have now taken over the direct management of these services, conducting operations from their respective offices. This initiative is designed to simplify the application process, boost efficiency, and eliminate unauthorized service costs that have previously burdened applicants.
Officials emphasized that all appointments for consular services must be arranged through the official portal and warned against engaging with any individual, agency, or intermediary claiming to facilitate bookings or expedite services on behalf of the Indian missions. This precaution is crucial to safeguard against fraudulent activities and unnecessary expenditures.
To prevent misinformation and exploitation, the missions have cautioned the public to be wary of any organizations or representatives alleging to be officially empowered to offer appointment services.
