The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has recognized the exceptional talents of four students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej. These students recently emerged victorious at the Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad in London, securing a gold medal for their innovative project.
Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb formed the winning team, impressing judges with their Smart Irrigation Train project. Their achievement is particularly noteworthy given the fierce competition they faced, with participants representing 80 different nations. This victory highlights the students’ abilities to excel on an international stage, showcasing not only their ingenuity but also their commitment to addressing real-world challenges through innovation.
Sheikh Hamdan lauded the students, hailing them as exemplary figures for the youth of the Emirates. He commended their dedication, innovation, and perseverance, suggesting that their achievements serve as an inspiration for others.
