by admin477351

This week, a significant rise in temperatures is anticipated across the United Arab Emirates, with certain regions in Abu Dhabi projected to experience extreme heat, reaching up to 48°C. The National Centre of Meteorology has forecasted that areas within the Abu Dhabi emirate, such as Mezaira, Gasyoura, and Al Quaa, will endure these high temperatures, particularly on Thursday. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi city itself is expected to record a high temperature of 43°C on that day.

In contrast, Dubai is forecasted to remain relatively cooler, with temperatures likely to peak at 40°C by Thursday. This spike in temperature comes after a spring that was marked by comparatively mild weather conditions, interspersed with bouts of unsettled weather. Recently, however, many parts of the country have experienced consistently high temperatures exceeding 40°C, indicating the impending arrival of the summer season.

The official start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, including the UAE, is on June 21. As that date approaches, meteorologists predict that the hot weather conditions will persist throughout the region. The UAE typically sees a significant increase in temperatures during the summer months, with the current weather patterns acting as a precursor to what is expected in the coming weeks.

Residents and visitors in the UAE are advised to prepare for the intense heat, particularly in areas forecasted to reach the highest temperatures. As the mercury rises, it is essential to take necessary precautions to stay safe and healthy, such as staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun.
